So Julie and I took Kaelyn to a baby modeling try out and she made it past first selection. Then we took her to the follow up audition which the lady called us and told us she was selected. However the catch is they want $400 for pictures to get started and some friends have told me this type of thing is a scam. Do companies really prey on parents who think their kids are beautiful and want to show them off?

Julie of course is already to do it (providing I put up the cash of course). I have my reservation but feel like I should support my daughter in any way I can.
